Milliman Project manager gives you the possibility to change easily the status of your project. You can choose to validate or validate and sign a project, which will block some features inside your project for governance purposes.
Validate a project
Please note that you need to have the following right to access this feature:
Project Validation
When you validate a project, every change in the project will be prevented.
You will only be able to run calculations and if the model is stochastic change the seed.
Sign a project
Please note that you need to have the following right to access this feature:
Project Signature
If you sign a project, it will automatically validate it. Moreover, the seed will be locked to keep the results the same.
How to validate and sign?
To validate and sign, open the edition popup of the project you want to edit (Edit project's information) then click on the sign and/or validate checkbox.
You will be asked for your password, then click on Edit project to change the status.
Please note that this action will be logged and visible to the manager.
Warning
If you are connecting through an External IdP, you won't be asked for a password but simply to confirm your action.
