A new feature has been implemented to prevent two projects to have the same name within a Project group. This will prevent the creation/rename of a project with the name of another project, but won't change projects that had the same name before activating the feature.

Check if your server supports this feature and activate it

Open Administration panel (with Administrator right) and on the main dashboard, go to Project groups information.

If the unique names feature is activated for your server, you should see a switch to Allow or Prevent duplicated names:

By default, duplicated names are allowed. By clicking on the switch you will prevent this behavior in the future.
