Edit a project

You can edit a project's name, tags, and status directly inside the manager.

To open the edition panel, right-click on your project or click on the three dots on the right of your project to open the contextual menu, then click on Edit.

A modal will appear. Edit the information, then click on the Edit project button.

Sign and validate a project

Milliman Project Manager gives you the possibility to change the status of your project easily. You can choose to validate or validate and sign a project, which will block some features inside your project for governance purposes.

Validate a project

When you validate a project, every change in the project will be prevented.
You can only run calculations, and if the model is stochastic, change the seed.

Sign a project

If you sign a project, it will automatically validate it. Moreover, the seed will be locked to keep the results the same.

How do I validate and sign?

To validate and sign, open the edition modal of the project you want to edit, then click on the sign and/or validate checkbox.

You will be asked to write "confirm" into a text field and then validate.
Please note that these actions are recorded, and everyone will have access to the information of who validated/signed a project.
