Assumptions in your grids are flagged by their blue color. These assumptions can be edited by different ways that will be explained later in this article.
Manual entry
You can edit an assumption by clicking on a blue cell, and just use your keyboard to edit the value. Cells can contain strings, numbers, percentages, ...

You have the possibility to change an assumption (but also every cells') formatting by right-clicking on a cell or an area and selecting the Cells formatting option. You will be then asked to choose between one of the several cells formatting offered by Mind.

You can also change cell alignment by right clicking on a cell.
Copy – Paste from Excel
Copy-paste a range of data from Excel directly to Milliman Mind.
If you want to fill a grid with information stored in an Excel file, just copy your data, switch to Mind, select the origin cell of your data and paste them (Ctrl/Cmd+V).
Please note that only assumptions can be modified using copy-paste.
Click and drag
You can also spread information from a single cell to contiguous cells by dragging the little blue square in the bottom-right corner.
