Create a group in Excel

First, create two grids or more in the same Excel sheet.

Creating parts of the group inside the same sheet prevents get uncoherent width or heights of cells.

Once you have created your grids inside Excel, add the following flag to each grid name cell:

/Group.(Group name).x.y

Where:

  • (Group name) is the unique identifier of this group.
It should be shared with all grids within the same group and will be displayed in the navigation menu.
  • x is the vertical position of this grid within the group (starting at 0).
  • y is the horizontal position of this grid within the group (starting at 0).

Please note that:

  • If x is set to 0, the grid will be fixed on top of the group.
If y is set to 0, the grid will be fixed on the left side of the group.
If the position is 0.0, the grid will be fixed on the top-left corner.
  • Your position index can be non-consecutive, in this case, a blank space will be added.

Example

Will be rendered in Milliman Mind like that:

Create groups in Milliman Mind

You can create or edit groups using the flag manager directly in Milliman Mind.
